What is the Citizenship and Institutions Program?
Mobaderoon has trained over the past years a successful social leadership training program in the name of Active Citizenship, which encourages intercultural dialogue and community-led social development. Based on this program, and believing in its vision of building trust and understanding to support and sustain peaceful coexistence, and its confidence that the sustainability of trust and coexistence is directly linked to social institutions, a similar program was developed based on active citizenship that aims to develop and support leaders of social institutions.
It is an innovative program that could have a significant impact on the way social institutions and projects are supported around the world.
Target Group:
The program is directed to individuals who work within social institutions or are working to launch their own social institutions.
Program Journey:
The participants go through a river cruise that consists of four axes:
* I, Identity and Values.
* Me and others.
* We – the community.
* Project – Planning for Sustainability.
Program Expected Outcomes:
As a result, we will have:
- Active individuals in society who are able to launch social institutions.
- Social institutions with a clear vision and an annual plan with specific goals.
- Institutions able to identify clear sources of income, of which trade returns constitute 50% of it.
- Institutions that contribute to improving the reality of their societies by defining annual activities that achieve the (social, cultural or environmental) goals of the institution.
