Aflatoun and Aflateen Program
An informal social and financial education for children and adolescents" The program consists of a comprehensive approach that balances social education with financial education. It aims at consolidate these concepts, and ensure their impact on the future of the child, the nucleus of society. Children are encouraged to practice what they have learned through the participation of children led social and financial activities, such as social campaigns, saving schemes and the launching of small financial projects
Life Street Program
Children who spend most of their time on the street have wider opportunities to be able to plan their lives and become agents of change for themselves and their communities. The project aims at achieving this goal by adding a new street component that will provide children with skills and knowledge, through the implementation of interactive activities in the public squares where children in the street gather. These activities will focus on the following topics: Life skills 2. Literacy 3. Self-protection 4. Community values These four topics are presented in interactive ways through puppet theater, storytelling and story teller, interactive songs, and interactive murals on the street
Peace Players Program

Peace Players Program
The program provides basketball training for a group of adolescents through the adoption of a training curriculum combining the latest sports exercises and a set of societal values to enhance the player's value and athletic level. The program's team consists of a group of well-known local players and trainers and will work to disseminate and develop this training curriculum.
Peace Game Program
It an educational interactive game for adolescents based on activities that stimulate reality .The game let adolescents play an imaginary roles in countries and organizations working together to solve global problems in a way that stimulates the imagination of young people and works to understand local and global citizenship, mechanisms of mediation , negotiation and decision-making skills in addition to dealing with crises
Storytelling Program
The program was developed by a group of novelists, theater writers and a group of psychologists. The program targets young people ages 12 to 18 and helps them acquire tools to express their feelings, learn their potential energies, talk about their problems and possible solutions and stimulate their imagination

Interactive Theater Program
Communities that interact with each other away from violence, using the interactive theater tool" The interactive theater program is one of the most important tools of dialogue in an indirect way. The program enables individuals to use the interactive theater tools to use them in presentations that raise social issues in front of a target audience, and this audience participates in the show to reach possible solutions
Active citizenship program
Active citizens who are able to reflect the richness of their communities and launch small projects and community initiatives according to their needs." The citizenship program is one of the most important tools of social stimulation to launch small start-ups within the concepts of citizenship. The program "Active Citizenship" aims to move from the stage of capacity building to small development projects, which reflect the set of values through the actual practice of development projects. The program is divided into four concepts: I, identity and culture - you and I, dialogues - we, local citizenship - our role as active citizens (initiatives or small projects). Life skills 2. Leadership in Community Development
Community leaders, ambassadors of positive change in their communities" The program helps workers in associations and organizations to gain community-based expertise to enable them to carry out community intervention through development projects. The program is a development of the "Community Leadership" program launched by the British Council and developed to suit the needs of the Syrian community. The program tackles the concepts of: positive inquiry - systemic thinking - the power of questions - principles and passion (concepts of interest) and assumptions - mechanisms of community intervention
Facilitating / Training skills Program
The facilitation skills are one of the most modern and advanced skills in the world of training and leadership. They help to hold successful dialogue sessions, such as meetings, planning sessions, and training workshops, and encourage participants to reflect and innovate and expand their perceptions through interaction with each other so that we can achieve our goals and achieve what we are planning for. Benefits of participating in this program: Manage group (teamwork) effectively, build trust and team spirit Develop the skills of managing dialogue, communication, and presentation Better investment of knowledge, resources and capabilities of individuals Increased cooperation, understanding and coordination among individuals (working group) Greater commitment and organized collective action Generate new ways of thinking and innovation The skill of planning and structuring interactive sessions based on the principles of participatory learning
Psycho-social Support Program
Supporting all members of society, understanding and coping with traumas and emergency intervention mechanisms" The program identifies the specificity of dealing with each family member, alerts the privacy of children who are most vulnerable to crises, provides tools to protect volunteers and support their peers, and extends to many different ways to provide psychosocial support (theater and puppets , art , writing, storytelling and other tools). the program provides an introduction on: The concept of psychosocial support (based on Maslow's pyramid of needs) - Crisis and trauma - Peer support - Stress and adaptation - The journey of healing and building resilience - Children affected by crises, the program was developed in collaboration with UNICEF
Violent Behavior Study Program
This program is aimed at those interested in understanding and dealing with violent behavior. The program seeks to create a community awareness of violent behavior and its origins, as well as to provide people with basic skills to play an active role in dealing with situations of violence in society. Participants recognize violent behavior and are able to understand and classify it as they build their own actions and skills to deal with situations of violence in society
Building Peace Bridges
The program emphasizes building capacity for conflict analysis and empowering community actors to continue dialogue within their communities and to be peace ambassadors to prevent people from engaging in violence. "Even in the midst of war, we must prepare for peace." In addition to involving and providing opportunities for local citizens, who understand the value of understanding the other and richness of a diverse society that has been able to live side by side to be active participants in the development of their communities through their community initiatives
Nonviolence Communication
The nonviolent communication program does not aim to change people and change their behavior to act as we want, but it aims to establish relationships based on honesty, empathy and needs. It seeks individuals to have knowledge, ability, and a condition that allows them to develop peaceful, cooperative relationships with others, and by developing the capacity of citizenship that makes them active in their society
Values Journey Program
This program is based on the methodology of spreading and deepening the concepts of citizenship, rights and duties, encouraging participation, building confidence, nonviolent communication, building bridges of peace, and reflecting these concepts on the participants' behavior, their practical lives, their activities and their surrounding environment based on societal need and its impact on society. The program is facilitated by a number of facilitators with extensive experience in community work and a broad background on community development, responsiveness to community issues, program design , implementation and development. This program resulted in a large number of youth groups working to transfer the experience to the ground through the implementation of initiatives, networking and sharing knowledge and experience in the community with community partners to expand community impact and benefit. The urgent need to sustain the initiatives and projects launched by the community activists in Syria, where they will be provided through the program to build healthy communication among Syrian youth to meet the needs of society. This program was adopted by the Child and Youth International in 2017
Advocacy
The program provides an understanding of advocacy as a tool for social change by understanding the social context, systems and campaign planning. It provides tools to enable participants to prepare, plan and manage a pro-social and cultural advocacy campaign that maintains peaceful coexistence and cohesion of society and seeks to achieve positive societal change
Strategic Thinking
The Strategic Thinking Program works as a "forward vision" to empower entrepreneurs and leaders of social and development projects to help them ensure the sustainability of their work in a systematic manner that supports institutionalization and maximizing impact in the context of changing external environments from a comprehensive survey of the surrounding environment to identify the vision and strategies according to the best available realistic options in the current situation

Participatory Planning Program
A team working on the basis of understanding problems and planning from the bottom up" Benefits of participating in this program: Prepare the logical framework for any development project or small projects. Participatory management and planning mechanisms and thus have a holistic view of development as a core process stemming from society itself through its ability to identify its problems and define the context it wants to adopt, to solve these problems. Develop participants' facilitation skills to manage and facilitate planning sessions. All-in-one planning tools that draw input from all teams and make them feel that each team member is part of the process
Appreciative inquiry 5D Project cycle
The basis of planning and implementing projects and initiatives” This program has been developed depending on the needs of individuals and teams to motivate them to start social initiatives and innovative projects. Then, it moves forward to enable individuals to plan their initiatives and projects successfully by introducing them to a set of tools and concepts that approved its efficiency in many sectors especially the community one, like: the concepts of Social Inquiry, Resource based management and the stages of 4D cycle: Discovery- Dream- Design (Planning)- Delivery - Re-Discovery and evaluating the impact
Initiatives Program
This program is based on the basic elements of collecting information on the subject of initiatives and ensuring greater participation of the community in an initiative, from the stage of planning and using the information in the project proposal. The program also enables the participant in this general framework of communication and building messages that direct to the initiative team, beneficiaries and supporters. By empowering applicants with initiatives and groups that deliver their initiatives to create an understanding of the financial and administrative system in line with donor requirements and foster confidence in the initiative in the community
Context Analysis
The program introduces several tools to motivate thinking of a new way of interventions based on a general understanding of the community and its components through the context and understanding of the links and relationships of both the influence and impact within them within the context. The tool journey moves from the general understanding of the society and influential people to the private understanding of the intervention of community groups and attention to the role of stakeholders involved in intervention from the general community to understand the intervention accurately based on the general context .The program presents tools for analysis of relations and tools to understand the impact of the development team within this context. It is also important to present tools that help us to understand the needs of the community and choose priorities for intervention based on the resources owned by the teams and the impact that results on the overall context in society by the development teams or to find new interventions of greater benefit and more accurately studied to find a central impact in the community. The tools also help to understand the role of partners and the consideration of the intervention by the teams as a part of all interventions for the rest of the teams and they help to return to the need of real societies away from the assumptions of the imaginary and thus interventions have a greater impact in addition to enhancing the role of individuals cohesion and social impact
Proposal Writing
The proposal writing program aims at empowering the emerging institutions and teams to formulate the ideas of the initiatives and projects they wish to carry out according to their theories of change and according to the tools they possess, so that they are active individuals and entities that are updated to understand their reality, context and analysis, then write proposals in a professional manner to present them to donors to gain needed funding to launch their projects
Citizenship and social institutions
Believing in our vision of building trust and understanding to support and sustain peaceful coexistence and our confidence that the sustainability of trust and coexistence is directly linked to social institutions, this program has been developed based on active citizenship. Aimed at developing and supporting the leaders of social institutions. It is an innovative program that can have a significant impact on the way in which institutions and social projects around the world are supported. Social institutions are institutions that use the workforce to bring about social, cultural and environmental change. This program was adopted by the Child and Youth International in 2017
