What is Conflict Management Program?
The conflict management program seeks to shed light on the theoretical concepts related to understanding conflict, methodologies for dealing with it and tools for its analysis, so that the community is prepared within an integrated process aimed at deepening awareness and understanding about this knowledge and enabling the community to use these tools in relation to the particular local context, and thus will be able to develop strategies regarding local conflicts.
The program prepares knowledge of the basics of understanding conflict and provides researchers with the most important tools of conflict identification and analysis in terms of analyzing stakeholders and their behaviors; and studying the causes, roots and consequences of conflict issues.
Target Group:
This program is directed to individuals working in associations, institutions, and social groups interested in peace issues, in addition to active individuals within their communities and researchers interested in civil peace issues.
Program Learning Journey:
Participants go through a learning journey in the program that consists of three main modules:
- Understanding conflicts.
- Tools and Analysis: understanding local conflicts.
- Issues crucial to the understanding and analysis of conflicts.
Program Expected Outcomes:
- Participants will have the knowledge and reutilization of conflict, what they are, and have the motivation to understand and analyze it.
- Participants will test tools to analyze and understand local conflict.
- Participants will realize the link between conflicts and community dynamics.
