Over the course of four dialogue sessions held in June 2025, and within the framework of a project funded by the European Union and implemented by Kvinna till Kvinna in partnership with Dawlaty, Syrian women experts and activists from diverse fields discussed the reality of women’s participation in Syria’s political and economic future.

The first session, titled “The Role of Unions and Political Parties in Syria’s Future – Strengthening Participation, Ensuring Inclusion,” took place on June 4, 2025. The second session addressed “Advancing Women’s Political Participation in Syria: Insights from Recent Research,” and was held on June 13, 2025. This was followed by the third session, “Lessons from a Decade of Women’s Economic Empowerment Initiatives: Successes, Challenges, and the Way Forward,” held on June 17, 2025. The final session focused on “Women’s Economic Engagement in Reconstruction: Entrepreneurship and Opportunities for Growth” and took place on June 18, 2025.
