In response to the changing conditions in conflict-affected areas of Syria, Mobaderoon mobilized a network of 40 peace engineers across more than five key regions: Tartous, Hama, Latakia, Homs, and Rural Damascus (including Jaramana, Mezzeh, and Douma), with the aim of promoting mediation and social reconciliation through the establishment of over 10 local peace committees.
These committees foster dialogue and cooperation, work to de-escalate local tensions, and strengthen social cohesion within communities. Additionally, they promote reconciliation through humanitarian interventions that support the most vulnerable groups, ensuring urgent needs are met during this transitional period and contributing to sustainable peace in Syria’s most fragile areas.
