Mobaderoon is a pioneering civic organization that aims to “building trust and understanding to support and sustain peaceful coexistence.”
Our mission is to foster a culture of values-based and participatory peacebuilding for Syrians and people living in conflict-affected areas. Our belief that true peace begins with people and exists for their sake.
Today, as Syria enters a critical new phase, our vision is renewed and our mission sharpened: to actively contribute to national peacebuilding through community reconciliation, inclusive dialogue, and authentic storytelling.

What are We Working on Now?
Through inclusive dialogue spaces, trauma-informed facilitation, mediation efforts, civic education, and conflict-sensitive media, we work on:
Designing Community Dialogues
Empowering local communities to create safe spaces for dialogue that respect cultural and social contexts. The dialogues are designed in a participatory manner that fosters trust and mutual understanding, enabling collective problem-solving and the building of local support networks.
Community Justice and Reconciliation
We believe that reconciliation is a profound societal experience that requires shared humanity. Through this program, we work to restore the social fabric torn by war, through transitional justice rooted in people’s stories and experiences, towards building relationships based on truth and fairness.
Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding
We strengthen the capabilities of individuals and actors to analyze and transform conflicts through values-based, nonviolent methodologies, turning tensions and conflicts into opportunities for cooperation, and promoting a culture of peace as a fundamental pillar for peacebuilding in Syria.
